I am fascinated by the way wood and light transform a space. I work with the natural structure of the material, shaping objects that have a presence even when the light is off.
My inspiration comes from nature and architecture, particularly the stillness of Swedish landscapes. Scandinavian clarity and the quiet simplicity of Japanese design inform my work.
From the first idea to the finished form, the material remains at the centre. Its grain, knots and traces are allowed to remain visible.
